I loved this app when I first played it a long time ago. Since then they've made progression nearly impossible without constantly pumping cash into it. I've been trying to beat the same level for over a week now and refuse to pump any more cash into this game. Do yourself a huge favor and play something else unless you want to play cashgrab the simulator.
Fun and addictive gameplay, but the power scaling is absurd. It's obviously designed to force you to watch ads and spend money. The rate that your own character becomes more powerful is very slow. After a certain point, the enemies are basically one-shot killing you on the first level of every round and you have to watch ads or pay for power-ups to keep progressing.
Waaaaayy too many ads. Want 3 buffs for attack, defense, and health? An ad for each. Want a perk that always seems too expensive, even if you're getting the best score in each "cup" level? Ad for that, too. I spent a good amount of time on this game and just unlocked the second hero. Final straw when I had to do a mission with 15 levels, with a 30-second ad on each wave because the best perks always seem to be locked behind it and always happen to be too expensive. Download if you love ads.
Came back for a 4th review/rating. This game started as a 5 star, but it's actually not even a 1 star. The ads are excessive and they ALWAYS cause you to miss/skip the skill selection after waves. So now you're going into the next wave bare. No skills. Game has potential, but as long as the ads are the way the are, this game is a -2 star. I don't mind ads. Make your money. But the way they are is just asinine.
The gameplay loop isn't that bad, but very grindy with very poor scaling of difficulty. (unless you pay for some options), but the reason I rate it 2 stars is because of how they do the Ads. The ads themselves aren't too annoying, but it's how some of them are shown to the player. Some of the ads will literally take you to the Play Store App for the game in the ad, causing you to lose part of your progress and when you come back to the game, it's not even the same "fight" you were working on.
