The Calculator app is more than just a simple tool for arithmetic; it offers a range of features that make it an essential utility for anyone who frequently deals with numbers. Here are some of its core features that stand out:
In my daily life, I find myself reaching for the Calculator app more often than I initially realized. Whether I'm budgeting my monthly expenses, figuring out tips at restaurants, or even calculating the ingredients needed for my favorite recipes, this app has become an indispensable tool. Just the other day, while planning a small gathering, I used the app to calculate how much of each ingredient I needed based on the number of guests. It was a breeze to adjust quantities on-the-fly, ensuring I didn’t overbuy or underprepare.
The user interface of the Calculator app is clean and intuitive, making it easy for anyone to jump right in. I particularly appreciate the layout, which separates basic functions from advanced features, allowing for seamless navigation. The app runs smoothly, with quick responses to my inputs, which is crucial when I’m in a hurry. The history log feature has saved me countless times; if I mistakenly clear my calculations, I can simply scroll back and find what I need. Overall, using the app is a pleasant experience that enhances my productivity without any unnecessary complications.
The Calculator app is free to download, which is a significant plus for those who want a reliable tool without breaking the bank. While there are some premium features available through in-app purchases, the free version offers more than enough functionality for most users. This pricing model makes it accessible to everyone, from students to professionals.
The developer of the Calculator app frequently rolls out updates, ensuring that users benefit from the latest features and improvements. I’ve noticed enhancements to the user interface and performance optimizations after each update, which speaks to their commitment to user satisfaction. Additionally, customer support is readily available through the app and online, providing assistance for any questions or issues you might encounter.
As a regular user, security and privacy are top concerns for me when using any app. The Calculator app is available on both the App Store and Google Play, providing a level of assurance that it meets strict guidelines for safety. Importantly, the app requires no registration or personal data, which is a significant relief for users who are cautious about sharing their information.
Moreover, I’ve found that the app does not display intrusive ads or engage in unnecessary tracking behavior. It respects user privacy by only requesting permissions that are directly related to its functionality. This straightforward approach gives me peace of mind, allowing me to focus on my calculations without worrying about my data being misused.

Mostly fine, but there's been a long-standing bug (for YEARS) where, if you open the calculator after using it recently, it will appear blank, but then as soon as you start typing, whatever you had entered will reappear. It's easiest to just clear and start over, but it's annoying enough that I'm gonna look for alternatives... Something this dead simple should not annoy me to use.

Never thought I'd be rating the default calculator, but here I am, again. I was not a fan of the "material you" theme, but "material 3" is absolutely horrendous. The fonts in the text field and the button board don't even match! Revert it to the default font. Fortunately, I can uninstall the updates to use the older version of this app.

Memory would be nice. Also, how about measurements and do calculation from that? Adding a mortgage calculator, electronic calculator, weight loss calculator, etc. Instead of downloading a bunch of apps from unknown companies instead of a trusted one like Google? Another thought... maybe let us add a note to the calculations. I use this calculator for work & I think having a little note to say what the calculations are referring to would help me remember when the boss distracted me 🥴.

Its just a standard OS Andriod System calculator built in the Samsung I have. It does its job pretty well of... (you've guessed it) answering your math question via calculations. I want to see more of a background you can put on it to stand from other calculator apps. It feels vague to have a white screen or dark mode as background. Maybe adding other colors like pink, fluorescent? Other than that... its better than a toaster who does 6+7.

This app functions well and is good for everyday use. The issue is aesthetics. It used to have Arial-style numbers. Now the numbers look cartoony and as though they've had their edges sanded. I am sure it was done to improve ease of reading and is designed following the same accessibility and legibility guidelines as Comics Sans, but like Comic Sans, it is absolutely hideous. Please give us the option to switch between a few different typefaces, so that all users' preferences can be met.
